The venue is perfect for us, it is local and with it being inside it means we can attend in all weathers. The small group size means we really do get some focused time and the dogs get a chance to socialise with each other without it being a free for all. The module 1 course had some obstacles for us with an easily distracted puppy but any questions we had (even if not about the course material) he was more than happy to give us advice on. Fill Time Training
Residential training provides your dog with a thorough plan that we will design with you. A fast track to success, your dog has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundations for you. The process starts with a home visit so I can combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your dog. Why choose residential training?
Professional on hand full time, trained in how the canine brain works and monitoring canine behaviour to ensure your dog is getting the most out of the comprehensive training plan.
Your role
What we are doing by training daily with a dedicated plan is laying the fundamentals, with these learnt it is up to you to continue our work which is why we will share regular updates with what we are doing and importantly why we are doing it. If a dog is put straight back into an old routine, without upkeep of rules set while away on residential training, it is possible that the dog can get back into the old routine of behaviours, or unwanted behaviour can gradually return. If or How quickly this happens is really down to the you. Within our residential training packages are follow up home visits to ensure you have the support you need to continue our work.
Residential dog training means your dog will be staying with us for the duration of their training, which can be very difficult for owners being without their family member for a length of time. We keep in touch with regular updates via messages, photos and videos to try to put you at ease.
Cost
The cost is completely dependant on the needs of you and your dog. This will determine the length of stay and the length & intensity of each training session.
As we train dogs to customer requirements, the amount of training a dog receives during the day will depend on what we are working on. For example, teaching a new behaviour is often best learnt over multiple short sessions, so we may do 5-6 short 15 minute sessions during the day. If we are working on something like loose lead walking, we may go on long walks rather than short sessions.
Guarantee
We can’t guarantee the outcome because every dog is different. What we can guarantee is that we will do everything in our power to ensure the desired outcome is achieved within the perimeters of your package and that we have everything we need to give your dog the best chance of successfully learning the behaviour or skills you desire.
